Voice

Yes - No!

By doing this exercise the students train the voice
and practise to assert themselves.

Doing the exercise
The students divide
into pairs. The pairs stand
facing each other with enough distance to the other pairs.
Partner A says to B very quietly:
"Yes". B answers somewhat
louder: "No." A repeats - now
a bit louder than B - "Yes!".
B raises her voice again, so
that she is talking louder
than A: "NO!" ...
.A and B continue that
way, until both of them
are shouting.
  Then they are getting step by step more quiet, until they whisper again.

When finished they will do a second course; now B will say "Yes" and A will answer with "No". The Echo
