Techniques

Setting the Techniques

Two students (B and C) are standing facing each other.
Both are holding body shields. Between them another student is standing (A). B names a technique that A shall do, C names a second technique. Student A does these techniques four times in a row with increasing power and speed.

This is a good exercise if there are only few
students in the class or for a circuit training!

Example:

  B (on the left side)
has set a punch,

  C (on the right)
a kick.

Both are standing with enough distance between them, holding the body shields in the right way for the demanded techniques.

Student A first does the punch, then she turns and does the kick. She repeats the two techniques three times in succession, increasing the power and the speed of her movements. When finished, she takes one of the cushions and B or C step into the middle.
