Kneeing - Part Two

Student A has successfully freed herself. Yet perhaps she could have avoided to be pushed against the wall at all... This will be the subject of the two exercises below.

Unit one: Blocking the Attack

Again A and B are standing facing each other and having a row. Student A is watching B. She is careful to keep a good distance to her. At the same time she keeps her arms unobtrusively in front of the upper part of her body. So she can block a possible attack quickly.

See the picture on the right: One arm is hold close to the body in a horizontal position, propping the other arm that is raised. The arm A is normally working with should be in the upper position.

Abb.3
B tries to seize the shoulders of A.  A blocks the attack with the sides of the hands and pushes B back. When the attacker is much stronger, the defending person should use a stronger countermovement, for example kneeing.

Unit two :
Finishing the Talk in Time

A and B are in the same position as in unit one and
start discussing.

A watches B again carefully and takes care to keep a safe distance. When she notices that B becomes aggressive, she stops talking and goes away. While doing so, she is careful that B is not following her. Attacking the Attacker
